"Fertility and The Stress Cycle"
The menstrual cycle isn’t a niche speciality - it’s basic human physiology that affects roughly half the population for decades of their lives. Cycle awareness isn’t just for fertility work. It elevates every client interaction, from injury prevention to emotional resilience. Given how many clients come to BCST for support while trying to conceive, this talk wall help practitioners understand the physiology of fertility and how the stress response interacts with sex hormones.
This talk will include: anatomy & physiology of fertility, an overview of the stress response cycle & how it might manifest physiologically, tools to complete the stress cycle, and help create a meaningful path to building a cycle literate practice.
Kate Douglas, RCST®, C-FAE, is a Fertility Awareness Educator who is passionate about body literacy at all stages of life. She is the founder of Earth Body, an online hub for classes in cycle health for individuals and holistic professionals. She currently serves as the head of the Research Committee at the Association of Fertility Awareness Professionals and brings a multidisciplinary background in bodywork to this work in order to center the wholeness/nourishment of a client and their local ecosystem.

"Neuro Energetic Therapy"
NeuroEnergetic Therapy is a modern integrative approach that takes BCST into greater precision and clinical efficacy. This approach recognizes the body-mind-spirit continuum and helps illuminate the real nature of your client’s patterns, creating support for clarity and well-being. This talk combines BCST skills, the Polarity Therapy map of the human energy system, nerve facilitation awareness including spinal cord and brainstem reflex loops, polyvagal theory, the HPA axis, and a psychology of well-being into an overall therapeutic approach that will change what you thought about therapy and the healing arts.
Roger Gilchrist, RCST®, MA studied BCST with Franklyn Sills and assisted with trainings. He is the author of the book "Craniosacral Therapy and the Energetic Body", and numerous articles published in the Cranial Wave and other trade publications. Roger has taught BCST internationally, along with energy medicine courses, and the NET curriculum.

"Tending the Roots: How to Work with Ancestral Trauma"
Ancestral Trauma can show up in ourselves and in our clients at any time. In this presentation, Ruti will share her 30 years of wisdom for working with intergenerational history and how to recognize it and support ourselves and our clients when it arrives. The objective of this presentation is to bring awareness to ancestral and intergenerational trauma and how it might show up in our clients and in ourselves. I will offer participants tools to work with this subject matter so they can go back to their practices and apply them right away. There are many ways to work with ancestral and intergenerational trauma. I have developed my own way of working with this topic and wish to share that with our community.
Ruti Wagaki, RCST® is an experienced bodyworker in private practice since 1996. She is a BCTA/NA Approved Teacher and has been teaching in the bodywork field since 1997 and is a Certified Qigong Instructor. She is a Teaching Assistant at the Barral Institute for Visceral Manipulation and has been practicing various iterations of Craniosacral Therapy since 1999. Ruti is a published author of two articles in the Cranial Wave, 2022 and 2023 editions and a former Board Member with the BCTA/NA. Learn more about Ruti or contact her at RutiHealth.com
"Restoring the Breastfeeding Dyad: A Biodynamic Approach to Autonomic Regulation and Infant Feeding Function"
Breastfeeding is one of the earliest complex expressions of integrated physiological function in a newborn. Difficulties with feeding often reflect deeper patterns of autonomic imbalance, cranial nerve coordination challenges, and birth related strain within the infant’s system. While conventional approaches frequently focus on latch techniques or structural diagnoses, many infants continue to struggle because the underlying regulatory processes have not been addressed. This presentation explores how Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can support the breastfeeding dyad by orienting to the inherent health within the infant’s system and facilitating autonomic regulation.
Participants will gain insight into the role of cranial nerves involved in sucking and swallowing, the influence of birth patterns on feeding behavior, and how biodynamic principles can help restore functional coordination in infants experiencing feeding challenges. By situating infant feeding within the broader biodynamic model of health, this talk expands the clinical relevance of BCST in early life care. Some key areas explored will include:
• Birth strain patterns and their influence on sucking, swallowing, and autonomic stability
• Recognizing signs of vagal dysregulation affecting feeding behavior
• Biodynamic assessment principles in infants presenting with feeding difficulties
• Clinical case studies demonstrating shifts in feeding patterns following biodynamic support
• Integrating biodynamic principles within multidisciplinary lactation care.
Effath Yasmin, RCST® is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy practitioner based in Mumbai, India. She is the founder of Nourish & Nurture, an integrative clinic dedicated to maternal and infant wellbeing. Her work focuses on the intersection of birth trauma, breastfeeding science, nervous system regulation, and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. Effath has supported thousands of families with complex feeding challenges and teaches healthcare professionals internationally on the integration of biodynamic principles in infant care. She is passionate about restoring respect for the innate intelligence of the body and supporting the early mother infant relationship through compassionate, evidence informed care.
