2025 Abramson Educational Scholarships


Through the Stephanie Abramson Fund, BCTA/NA offers Educational Scholarships aimed at supporting eligible recipients in learning BCST.

The maximum award amount allowed per applicant has been adjusted for 2025.


2025 Award

The Abramson Scholarship award amount for the 2025 calendar year:

  • Scholarship Award Amount: $500 USD, to be used toward tuition
  • Total amount allowed each recipient in 2025: $500 USD (one scholarship)

2025 Eligibility Requirements

  • To be eligible to apply for an Abramson scholarship you must:
    • Identify as a Person of the Global Majority*, Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color (BIPOC).
    • Be registered in a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Foundation Training program taught by BCTA/NA  Approved Teaching Team.
  • If this is your first Abramson Scholarship application: In order for your application to be considered, you must have applied for and been accepted to attend a training. 

  • Eligible applicants may receive a maximum total of two (2) scholarship awards.

  • Your BCST teacher will be asked to confirm that you are continuing in training. 

  • Eligibility requirements are subject to change each year.

Applications

Applicants may apply once per year. Those interested in applying in 2025 may submit an application during one (1) of two (2) application periods.  

  • Spring 2025 Scholarship Applications
    The Spring Scholarship application period is April 1 - 30, 2025
    An application form will be available here by April 1, 2025

  • Fall 2025 Scholarship Applications
    To be announced in Fall 2025

Selection

A Review Committee will process applications and confirm eligibility of the applicant's training program. Applicants will be notified whether they have been selected as a Scholarship recipient within 15-30 days after applications have closed.

Award Distribution

  • 2025 scholarship checks will be sent directly to the recipient's BCST Teacher, to apply to the recipient's tuition.

  • After the recipient receives notification their request has been approved, their award will be mailed to their Teacher before the start date of the class for which the student is registered.

 

* People of the Global Majority (PGM) are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, who represent over 80% of the world’s population.

The Stephanie Abramson Fund

In memory and celebration of the life and work of Stephanie Abramson, the Stephanie Abramson Fund was established in 2020, to support People of the Global Majority (PGM)*, Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color who are students and practitioners learning Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and sharing the work in their communities.
