Abramson Scholarship

Abramson Scholarships are aimed at supporting eligible recipients in learning Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

The Spring 2026 Scholarship award amount will depend on the number of eligible applicants. The amount will be announced within 30 days of the end of the application period.*

* In order to award a scholarship to all who are eligible, the Spring 2026 Scholarship amount is expected to be between $250 and $500 per approved applicant.

Each recipient will receive the same award amount.

 

2026 Eligibility Requirements

  • To be eligible to apply for an Abramson scholarship you must:
    • Identify as a Person of the Global Majority*, Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color (BIPOC).
    • Be registered in a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Foundation Training program taught by BCTA/NA  Approved Teaching Team.
  • If this is your first Abramson Scholarship application: In order for your application to be considered, you must have applied for and been accepted to attend a training. 

  • Eligible applicants may apply to receive a maximum of two (2) scholarship awards.
  • Your BCST teacher will be asked to confirm that you are continuing in training. 

  • Eligibility requirements and award amounts are subject to change each application period.

Applications

Applicants may apply once per year. Those interested in applying in 2026 may submit an application during one (1) of two (2) application periods. Previous scholarship recipients must submit an application form to apply for another award.

  • The Spring Scholarship application period is April 1 - 30, 2026.

Selection

A Review Committee will process applications and confirm eligibility of the applicant's training program. Applicants will be notified whether they have been selected as a Scholarship recipient within 15-30 days after applications have closed.

Award Distribution

  • 2026 scholarship checks will be sent directly to the recipient's BCST Teacher, to apply to the recipient's tuition.

  • After the recipient receives notification their request has been approved, their award will be mailed to their Teacher before the start date of the class for which the student is registered.

* People of the Global Majority (PGM) are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, who represent over 80% of the world’s population.


The Abramson Scholarships

In memory and celebration of the life and work of Stephanie Abramson, the Abramson Scholarship was established in 2020, to support People of the Global Majority (PGM)*, Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color who are students and practitioners learning Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and sharing the work in their communities.
